Reality

excitement fills my whole body
as i think of today
what i have accomplished
and the things i have done

a smile spreads across my face
at God's warm and comforting embrace
the joy in my heart
the spring in my step

how i could do so much
and be so happy is foreign
i must be doing something right
for all of these blessings

to see how bright my future is
apparently its blinding
teacher, pastor, mentor
what could be better

for i know one way or another
i will achieve my dreams
for they will stop being dreams one day
they will be reality
